Riverview recognizes play and direct exploration as central to early learning. This, paralleled with our nurturing environment, helps to provide a pre-school experience for all to enjoy.

We have provided a child-centered program with a wide range of stimulating experiences for 32 wonder-filled years.  

MESSAGE FROM OUR DIRECTOR

Dear Friends,

In 1991, Riverview Nursery School opened for 28 children and over the years we have grown to serve our community with generations of families passing through our doors. Our Riverview family is ever-growing, and we embrace the amazingly diverse, and varied community we serve.

We provide a child-centered, nurturing program of learning, rooted in a play-based curriculum. We believe play is such an important part of child development and core to every experience our children have here at Riverview. We are so fortunate to have such a beautiful environment to share with our children, from our classroom and indoor spaces to our beautiful playground overlooking the Hudson.

Our teachers lead a positive approach to learning, and we celebrate our children's successes daily and over time. Indeed, we are proud of our alumni and continue to be overwhelmed by our young people's successes as they grow.

As we look to the future, we look to more shared successes and celebrations with our Riverview family.
